B.J. Davis, Executive Director

B.J. joined the Camp Ocoee staff in November of 2011. He has been involved in YMCA camping since 1993, when he was a cabin counselor at Camp Ocoee. Since 1993, B.J. has been the Assistant Director at Camp Ocoee, the Resident Camp Director at YMCA Camp Thunderbird in Charlotte, North Carolina and the Associate Executive Director at YMCA Camp Widjiwagan in Nashville, Tennessee. B.J. earned his B.S. degree in Outdoor Recreation from Middle Tennessee State University.
Chelsea Sandidge, Senior Program Director

Chelsea joined the Camp Ocoee staff in January of 2018. She started her Y story as a young Princess in the Adventure Guides program and began her Y career with the Metro Chattanooga Association at the Hamilton Family Y as their Family Programs Coordinator. Chelsea has a long history attending and working for various camps and has also graduated from Clemson University in 2015 with her Masters Degree in Community Recreation Management, specializing in International Camping and Youth Development Leadership. When not at camp, you’ll find Chelsea road or mountain biking, gardening, baking, or hanging out with her dogs, Finley and Cadence.
Scott Patterson, Program Director

Scott joined as a full-time staff member in March of 2023. He has been working for the Y since 2019 in a variety of different seasonal positions. He was a camp counselor at Camp Ocoee in 2020 and 2021 and the Teen Leadership Coordinator in 2022. Scott is local to the area and has grown up in the Ocoee region. In 2022 he graduated from Cleveland State Community College with an Associates of Science degree in Education. In his free time you will find him traveling, camping or going to concerts.
Diana Kroening, Office Manager

Diana Kroening joined Camp Ocoee staff in March of 2023. Diana has a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Alabama Business School. She is married to Robert and they have raised 5 active girls who have all graduated. Her family moved a number of times in the military but settled in Polk county about 9 years ago and love it. Diana and girls have rode and showed horses and are excited about Camp Ocoee for family reunions with it's lodge, cabins and lovely setting.
Bobby Daniell, Maintenance Director
Bobby joined our staff May 2012. He is originally from Atlanta, GA. Bobby spent time living in Ocoee working at an outfitter prior to moving to the Outer Banks in North Carolina for a number of years. He is very happy to be back in the Tennessee mountains.
